Special Events
'Write on Time' Youth Playwriting Festival
Calling all youth writers, actors and directors! NOVA will be hosting a three day play festival where students will get to write, act, and direct their original works. The event will take place March 6, 7, & 8. The event will start on March 6 with the Funky Bunch Improv Show where writers will get prompts for their plays. The following day will be for writing and rehearsing, and the festival will end with a matinee performance on Sunday! Who - Write on Time is open for youth ages 10 - 18. Schedule- Friday, March 6 - 7:30-Funky Bunch performance followed by talk back with Write on Time participants. Saturday, March 7 - 9:00 - 12:00 Writers will work on their one-acts 1:00 - 5:00 Actors and directors rehearse their pieces. Sunday, March 8 - 10:00 - Final Dress Rehearsal 2:00- PERFORMANCE.
