August 15-19, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (Grades 7-12)

Students learn to enhance their musical theatre skills. In this week long course, incoming 7th-12th grade students will focus on audition technique as well as a collaboration of music, acting and movement to tell as story This camp runs August 14-18, 9AM-5PM. The program ends with a showcase on Saturday, August 19 @ 12PM consisting of student acted and directed scenes. Mandatory auditions will be Sunday, August 13 from 5-7PM at NOVA.  See requirements below. Tuition for this camp is $200. If you register by July 24, you will receive a $20 discount.



Please come prepared with a theatrical resume along with 32 bars (verse and chorus) of a Broadway musical number. You may bring sheet music or sheet music. A CD player and aux chord and accompanist will be available.  If you are using sheet music, please mark the start and end of your selected piece. NO ACAPELLA! You may also be asked to learn a short dance combo so be sure to bring movement clothes if you intend to dress up…..which doesn’t hurt. Treat this as a professional audition.
