The Norwegians, directed by
Amanda McCave, is a dark comedy about two women from Minnesota
who don’t mess around when it comes to having a broken heart.
The women decide to take matters into their own hands by hiring
really, really, really nice Norwegian hit men to take care of
their no good ex-lovers. This is a comedy that is bound to have
you saying, “uffda!”

NOVA Center for the Performing Arts is presenting the comedy "The Norwegians," directed by Backyard Theater owner Amanda Megyesi McCave and assistant-directed by her son Kievan McCave.
This play tells the story of two badly scorned women who hire two hitmen to take care of their boyfriends. Uff-da! — those Norwegian hitmen aren’t exactly what the girls had in mind.
"The Norwegians" features Christopher Greensweight, Matt McCave, Kate Restad and Hailey Heitz.
"The Norwegians" plays Jan. 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, and 15. Friday and Saturday performances start at 7:30 p.m. while the Sunday matinees begin at 2.
Tickets are $21 for adults, $16 for seniors 65 and older and military, and $10 for students.

Who’s Who?
Amanda Megyesi McCave (Director):
Amanda has acted in numerous shows in Billings. Her acting
credits include Hair at Venture Theatre, The Diary of Anne Frank
and Spring Awakening at Billings Studio Theatre.
Her
directing credits include Among Beautiful Women at Backyard
Theater and St. Nicholas, with Vincent Raye, and Mauritius at
NOVA.
She currently runs Backyard Theater with her friend
Wanda Morales-Thompson.
Kievan McCave (Assistant
Director): Kievan was most recently seen at NOVA as
Charlie Brown as You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
Kievan
has also been active with the Backyard Theater.
Hailey Heitz (Olive): Hailey currently attends Billings
West High School. Recently, she co-directed Backyard Theater’s
production of Juvie.
Kate Restad (Betty):
Kate was last seen in the Odd Couple at Venture Theatre. She is
excited to return to the stage!
Christopher
Greensweight (Tor): Christopher studied Theater at the
University of Montana in Missoula.
For NOVA, Christopher has
performed in 5 Women Wearing the Same Dress and directed In
Conflict.
Matt McCave (Gus): Matt has
spent many years with the Billings Sheriff’s Office.
He has
been seen in Guys and Dolls at NOVA and several Backyard Theater
productions.
